AboutEstablished in 2007 Lorie Lester has brought a diversified look to the contemporary market. " Some days I feel like dressing boho or very feminine and others I might feel a little rough and grunge." All these influences go into Lorie's versatile designs.After majoring in fashion design at The Miami International University of Art and Design Lorie was soon making pieces out of her old bedroom at her mothers house. Friends would wear her designs out and boutiques quickly followed in picking up on the designers pieces. In 2008 Lorie was recognized by Bazaar en Espanol as an emerging Hispanic designer. The line consists of mainly silks, micro modal, and organic cottons. Silhouettes bring out a woman's figure while still keeping a laid back vibe. " Every woman has a beautiful body it's just a matter of bringing that out. I want to inspire woman to feel amazing and confident when they enter a room."Lorie was also very influenced by a documentary she saw on the apparel manufacturing business in the U.S. "Many years ago most of our production took place in the Untied States. It's how many immigrants made a living here. Today almost all production takes place over seas and it's cost a lot of jobs here." Lorie always keeps everything made in the U.S.A.But she is also just a girl like all girls. "I love to shop and I always want to find unique pieces that I know no one else is wearing when I go out. At the end of the day I just want to make clothes that woman love. There's nothing like falling in love with the perfect dress." CollectionsSummerFallFall
